If you are receiving a 404 error when you are attempting to view your portal on Tyk Cloud, it means that you don't have any APIs live in your account. An API does not need to be published to your portal, but you will need at least one API saved and active in your dashboard in order for the portal to become active.

To set up an API in Tyk Cloud:

Go to the “APIs” section of the dashboard, and select the green button to create a new API, change the following fields:

  1. API Name: HttpBin 
  2. Target: http://httpbin.org 
  3. API Slug: test-api 
  4. Click Save

Your Portal should now be visible for your organisation. 

If you have assigned a CNAME to your portal, but are not a paid-plan subscriber, the CNAME will not work.
